Festival in 2008. The band includes the Anthony

Just
in...the Country Barn Show is on again, Saturday,
29 April 2006. For those of you who don't know
about The Country Barn, it is one of the best
country music venues in South Australia. This
time it is Travis List Band, the legendary Alby
Pool from Kurri Kurri NSW, and new talent Melody
Pool. Also for the first time we have some of
Australia's best country musicians including Rusty
Crook from Tamworth and Allan Tomkins from Sydney,
maker of the famous Tomkins Guitars. This coming
show will be 10th for the Country Barn, all of
which have been sold out. The show is not widely
advertised, but tickets are available by contacting
Trade Winds Caravans 08 8250 8545.

What a fantastic 2006 Tamworth Music Festival
for Travis List fans. If you missed Travis' show...you
won't see better. Travis put together a band to
kill for. One of the best country guitar players
from the US, Redd Volkaert; the best country guitar
player from Tamworth; Rusty Crook; Paul Obryan
from South Australia on pedal steel; Allan Tomkins
(who made all the guitars on stage except the
steel) on bass; and Peter Figures on Drums. Gary
Brown sat in when he could on lap steel and dobro.
What a show!

On 15 December, Travis was the first in a new series
country music artists performing Sundays at noon
at The Mean Fiddler, Rouse Hill, Sydney, NSW. What
a great new venue for country music! The Mean Fiddler
has some great acts booked. Be sure to check them
out. Travis has been invited back and will perform
there with a full band on Sunday, 12th of February. |

Travis is in Sydney preparing for his Sydney/Newcastle
gigs. After that it will be down to Adelaide to
spend Christmas with his family, back to Sydney
for a few gigs then off to Tamworth 2006. |

Travis cut his UK trip short, declined the offer
of performing in Spain and headed back to Nashville.
He'll be back in Australia in early December. |

Allan
Tomkins flew in from Nashville to play
bass guitar for Travis. Tomkins is in Nashville
to play for Gary
Allan. Steve White will be playing pedal
steel. That completes the lineup for the Father's
day Roundup
at River Ridge. Travis sat in for a set
with the Longriders in Tulare on Friday and wowed
the local crowd. The Longriders are Dave Warnke
(lead guitar), Dennis Randall (drums), Vernon Martin,
(bass guitar, mandolin), Rocky Boosalis (Keyboard). |

arrived in California today for a few days of relaxation
then a full schedule of appearances and radio interviews
to promote the Roundup
at River Ridge. |

| Today
Paul Obryan flew in from Adelaide and laid down
the last track (pedal steel) on Travis' new single,
a duet with Alby Pool. The single will be released
later this year. He and Alby sang it publicly for
the first time this week at Hexham. |

| Travis
completed the Australian season with three shows
this week in the NSW Central Coast and Newcastle.
Next stop, the Cowboy Roundup, 19 June, at River
Ridge Ranch, Springville, California, then on to
Nashville for some recording, followed by Spain
for three months of performing. He will be back
in Australia in December with a full schedule of
performances in the Sydney region and Adelaide.
He will be performing throughout Australia in January,
February, and March. Travis' 2006 Tamworth Music
Festival schedule will be posted here as soon as
it is firmed up. |

| Well,
sometimes things don't go like you want... Travis
recently traveled to Queensland for a guest appearance
in two country shows put on by his mate Col Finley.
Crowds were not as large as expected, however Col
put on some fantastic shows ! |

| The
Country Barn Show in Adelaide, South Australia was
a great success with a sold out crowd of around
300 people showing up with eskys and chairs for
a big night of great country music. Up first was
the owner of the Country Barn, Ian List. Following
Ian was a tremendous performance by Sandra and the
band and finally Travis with a show similar to one
that knocked them over in Tamworth. More Country

Travis interrupted his Gold Coast working holiday
when asked to perform at the 24 April Crows Nest,
NSW Country Music Festival in Sydney. A headliner
had dropped out of the festival and Travis was
asked to perform...tomorrow, 10 hours drive away.
He hopped a plane with his guitar and headed for
the show. Thanks to Bob Howe for the photo

Guest spot at Canterbury Country at the Canterbury
Hurlstone Park RSL with host Bob Howe. Other guests
were Rebecca Lee Nye, Billy Bridge and Stacey
Morris. The band included Doug Boyd (piano &
accordion), Terry Phillpot (drums), Bob Howe (lead
guitar, vocals), and Allan Tomkins (bass, vocals).
A great night of country music.
